Today the new board organized a clean up of the dumpster area. Newly minted Vice-President Scott White joined a group of volunteers and made short work of the piles of furniture, old mattresses and over grown grass. The clean up will help keep away rodents and other wildlife from taking up residence in those old mattresses as well as making the park a more attractive place to live.
Here’s a few pictures I took of the event.
I wish to extend my heart-felt gratitude to the VOLUNTEERS who took on that task. When I first saw the fruits of their labor I had to ask myself if I’d ‘taken a wrong turn and ended up in the Twilight Zone’! HOW SAD is that? {That I had become so accustomed to such squalor!} My residual reaction has been a renewed hope for the future of my home and our Community. Please fellow residents, let’s keep a positive attitude. Can’t you begin to see a new light at the end of the tunnel? Although we have a tough road ahead; think about our accomplishments over the years. More specifically the fact that our Town Legislators (acting as the Easton Rent Control Board) as well as our state and federal legislators are working in our favor. Please keep the Faith and continue to fight the good fight.
